How is this platform different from the old platform?

Our new platform is a comprehensive self-service solution. Customers can log in to their accounts, effortlessly navigate our products, create draft orders, place orders, pre-order, reorder, track shipments, and pay invoices with credit cards or approved terms. This platform also enables your representative to provide faster turnaround times to your questions and greater account management control.

How do I place an order?

You can log in to the B2B portal with your given credentials and place an order similar to how you would do on the DTC. If you have issues, you can contact your sales representative or email the wholesale team at wholesale@coolibar.com.

I didn't receive an order confirmation. What should I do?

Sometimes our confirmation emails end up in your spam or junk email folder, so please check there first. Make sure to add Coolibar as an approved sender in your email settings. If you still cannot find your order confirmation email, please contact us at wholesale@coolibar.com.

How do I get multiple credentials for different buyers in the account?

You must go to My Account and click on “invite user.”

Can I add multiple shipping addresses?

Yes, you can add multiple shipping addresses and select the desired address during checkout.

How do I track my orders?

You must go to My Account and review the status of all recent orders. You will also receive a tracking number once the order is released.

Can I modify my order after checking out?

Modifications are allowed while the order is on draft status. If the order has been placed, you will need to contact wholesale@coolibar.com to make changes before the order gets released for shipping.

Can I apply Coolibar’s D2C website offers and promotions to my wholesale order?

No. Offers and promotions on Coolibar.com D2C website are not applicable on the B2B portal.

What happens if there are stock issues at the moment of order release?

At checkout, you can choose whether you allow Coolibar to automatically release the order without the missing stock and place those units on backorder, or to hold the entire order until all units are available at the warehouse.

If I have a draft order in my account will that guarantee stock when order is placed?

No. Immediate and future orders need to be placed to commit the units.

Can I get free shipping or free store graphics?

You can receive free shipping on your first order of $2,000 or more. Additionally, you may be eligible for free store graphics upon request.

Do I need to have a physical store to be a Coolibar retailer?

Yes. We only partner with retailers that have a physical location.

What if I only sell online?

If you operate exclusively online, you won't be able to sell Coolibar products. However, you can explore selling the Suntect brand by customizing our products.

What is the wholesale pricing for Coolibar products?

The general wholesale pricing is 50% off the MSRP retail price.

What is the wholesale pricing for Suntect products?

The general wholesale pricing is 20% off the MSRP retail price.

What is the minimum opening order?

The minimum opening order is $2,000 USD.

What tax documentation is required?

If your business is tax-exempt, we will require your state’s resale certificate and updates for every state renewal. If not provided, Coolibar will be required to charge sales taxes to comply with regulations.

How do I apply for Terms?

You can apply for terms after your first three orders by submitting Trade References and a Credit Application to your sales representative. The approval process takes 7–14 business days.

What is the return policy?

Coolibar does not accept returns or exchanges. All orders must be inspected for accuracy and quality assurance within 14 days of the shipping date to file a claim with Coolibar. If the claim is approved, Coolibar will issue either an exchange or a credit memo.

Are committed units guaranteed stock?

While we strive for accuracy, occasional issues with our warehouse or inventory system may show available units that later result in stock issues. This is not common, but it can happen.

Do you offer customization?

Yes, we offer customization services including logo screen printing, DTF, and embroidery. Please contact us at wholesale@coolibar.com to make a request and receive a quote.

What happens if I am late with payment?

Accounts with past due balances will incur a 5% late fee and will be moved to inactive status until payment is received.

Do you have merchandising recommendations?

We suggest retailers showcase Coolibar products on designated Coolibar racks. Ensure all items are well-displayed, organized, and presented to highlight their quality and value. In-store graphics are available on request. Contact your sales representative for further details.

How long will it take to process my order?

Our warehouse can take up to 10 business days from order submission, depending on the order size. However, on average, wholesale orders take 2.5 business days to process.

How long have you been around?

Coolibar has been around for 23 years since our inception in Minneapolis.

Where do you ship from?

We ship from our 3PL warehouse in California.

Where is your office located?

Our main office is in Miami, FL, with teams also based in Thailand and India.

Why is sun protective clothing better than regular clothing?

Sun protective clothing, rated UPF 50+, is recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation as the safest defense against skin cancer. A typical white t-shirt offers UPF 7, dropping to UPF 3 when wet.

How is Coolibar different from other sun protective clothing companies?

Coolibar guarantees UPF 50+ for every garment's lifespan with embedded sun protection that doesn't degrade. Our fabrics block 98% of UVA and UVB rays, using unique materials like bamboo viscose blended with cotton and Zinc Oxide in our ZnO fabric. We also use Titanium Dioxide in fabrics for activities like swimming and employ tightly woven constructions for superior UV ray protection.

Will I get hot if I wear Coolibar?

No. Coolibar fabrics are highly breathable and moisture-wicking, keeping you cooler even in the sun. We offer fabrics tailored for various lifestyles, including cooling technology in fitness wear.

Does the sun protection wash or wear out over time? How can you guarantee that?

No. Coolibar's UPF 50+ rating doesn't wash or wear out. Independent laboratories conduct tests following AATCC and ASTM guidelines, exposing fabric to 40 washes and 100 hours of UV exposure, consistently confirming UPF 50+.

How do I care for my Coolibar clothing and hats?

Machine wash with mild detergent, tumble dry low or hang dry. Each garment includes care instructions on the label. For hats, spot cleaning is recommended.

How does Coolibar sizing run? How do your clothes fit?

Coolibar sizes align with industry standards. They're slightly more generous to allow air circulation, ensuring comfort during activities like fitness, fishing, golfing, and tennis, based on our extensive sun protection experience.

Who recommends Coolibar?
